About the artist

​

Born in London in 1954, I trained at Watford and Exeter Art Colleges but soon found myself investigating the techniques of the old masters rather than following the path of abstract expressionism and conceptual art practised by many of my contemporaries.

 

I have worked as a professional artist for some 25 years, mainly doing commissioned work for interior design projects and private collectors. Commissions have come from as far afield as South Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Europe, New York, Tokyo and Mexico.

 

In recent years I have been painting in Bali, a source of inspiration for artists from many nations since the 1930's.
